VACANCY FOR LEVEL 2 TEACHING ASSISTANT - ST ANDREW’S CE PRIMARY SCHOOL

 Teaching Assistant – Level 2

 St Andrew’s CE Primary School, Mardale Avenue, Warrington, WA2 9HF

 Reports to

 Headteacher

 Hours

 15 hours per week (Term time only plus 2 INSET days)

 12.00pm – 3.00pm (Mon-Fri)

 Salary Range

 Grade 4 SCP 6-7 (pro rata)

 Contract Term

 Fixed term until 31/12/2026 with the possibility of extension subject to funding

 Start Date

 Monday 2nd November

We want to hear from you if you are a committed, hard-working team player who will strive for nothing less than excellence for the children of St Andrew’s C.E Primary School.   The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to employ a friendly, effective and highly motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can work collaboratively with other staff in the team in planning, development, delivery and evaluation of the effectiveness of the curriculum for the children.
  • Can contribute to observations and assessments of children’s learning.
  • Can adjust activities according to pupil learning styles and individual needs.
  • Can communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff.
  • Can develop positive relationships with children and staff to assist the progress and attainment of children.
  • Has a positive approach to managing children’s behaviour.
