Welcome to Reception

Wow! We would like to give all parents and carers a big welcome to St Andrew’s School. The children have settled brilliantly into life at school and are leaping through the gate each morning with a big smile on their face. Friendships have been formed and they are learning to listen and play beautifully with one other. We are all very proud of them.

Reception are taught by Mrs Gorman and the teaching assistants are Mrs Andrew's and Mrs Hatton.

Just a few points to note, which really help us.

Your child should bring a bag to school each day and you should also check inside as we will put in letters, first aid slips and books in.

Children have access to fresh water, fruit and milk each day.  If you choose to send a snack from home please ensure it is a suitable item such as fruit, veg sticks or toast/ bread.

Please label all items of clothing.

P.E usually takes place on a Wednesday but kits should remain in school.  We will send them home at half term for washing.

Please keep checking on Class Dojo and Tapestry regularly as this is how we will keep you updated with important information.

We look forward to the exciting year ahead

Mrs Gorman, Mrs Andrews and Mrs Hatton.

We are very proud of our Forest School style learning opportunities and our outdoor classroom. Please look at our video.
